OUR PROJECT

We built a model of a greenhouse with Plexiglas walls, inside which we placed 11 plants; there is also a drip irrigation system, connected to a rainwater collector, located outside the structure.

The model also features numerous sensors:

  • temperature sensor: sensor that measures the temperature and communicates it to NAO via Arduino.

  • humidity sensor: sensor that measures humidity and communicates it to NAO via Arduino.

  • light sensor: sensor which, based on the amount of light present, opens windows in the greenhouse and turns on the LEDs.

  • solar panels: they are used to power the various sensors and in the case of a hypothetical larger structure also to power the NAO, so that they are completely self-sufficient.
